The Ambassador Townhouse

>About us

Home from home
The Ambassador Townhouse is owned and managed by husband and wife team Steve and Tracy Holgate.

With an eye for detail, Tracy has extensive experience in customer service through a successful career with BT. With many years of experience in the building trade, Steve has ensured the thorough upgrade and refurbishment of this Victorian property and, each morning, now constructs the finest selection of English and Continental breakfasts using best quality and locally sourced ingredients.

They are a local couple, inspired to create this haven of rest through:
• A strong belief that they can offer a wonderful experience at a
price they themselves would be prepared to pay

• Tracy’s extensive experience of, and dedication to, customer

• Lack of choice in boutique hotel accommodation at affordable

Having realised their vision of a classically stylish, affordable sanctuary, Steve & Tracy were proud to be awarded Winner: Guest Accommodation of the Year 2009-2010 for the Liverpool City Region: an accolade that reinforces their efforts to ensure each guest is made to feel quite at home and enjoys an experience they would wish to repeat time and again.

Through Steve and Tracy's continual commitment to improving the Ambassador Townhouse experience, guests return each year in increasing numbers and find changes - both large and delightfully subtle.

Steve & Tracy have a good knowledge of local places of interest and restaurants, and will be delighted to help you with any recommendations and assistance you may need.
